About Epona
The Epona Center at Apache Springs Ranch
is located in Sonoita, Arizona. Epona’s founder, Linda
Kohanov is the author of The Tao of
Equus, and Riding Between the Worlds: Expanding Our Potential
through the Way of the Horse, she
is currently working on her third book, Horse Hide Drum: Shamanic Journeys through the Way of
the Horse. Linda is a pioneer in
the field of Equine Facilitated Mental Health, and Equine
Experiential Learning, she and her partner Kathleen Barry
Ingram have created the Epona Apprenticeship Program to train
