What is Equine Experiential Learning?
Equine Experiential Learning expands human
potential within the dynamic process of the horse-human
interaction. Though reflective
non-riding activities horses guide participants to reach
greater awareness of their unconscious thoughts and feelings
and to be conscious of the dynamics present in their
relationship to themselves and others. The horses and qualified
facilitator teach participants how to make powerful choices
based on courage instead of habitual patterns by recognizing
emotional patterns that may be limiting success. These skills
are easily integrated when participants are in a round pen with
a horse. The philosophy is simple,
the better you know yourself, the more authentic you can be in
your life.
